About the project

Kamalapur Station S17 is the terminus of MRT Line-6, and its glazing is our most watched package. Under Italian-Thai Development for DMTCL, we measure, fabricate and install station glazing while S17 remains a guarded, active railway site.

Installation proceeds panel by panel to approved shop drawings, with every lifting window agreed with the site team in advance.

How we delivered it

01 Submissions before site workGlass, framing and fixings entered site through reviewed submissions. Nothing was fabricated before its drawing was approved.

02 Work zones inside a guarded stationCrews are inducted, zones barriered and lifting windows fixed in advance, so station operations and security are never interrupted.

03 Panel-by-panel sign-offEach installed panel is inspected against the shop drawing before the next zone opens.

04 Records ready for handoverAs-builts and warranties are compiled as the work advances, not after it ends.

The outcome

The station operates and stays guarded while the glazing advances, and every installed panel is already signed off by the engineer. Status: Ongoing.
