About the project

318 metres of railings and footpaths along the MRT Line-6 corridor from Uttara toward Agargaon, built beside live traffic under Italian-Thai Development for DMTCL.

The work was sectioned so pedestrians never lost the route: each stretch was barriered, built, inspected and handed back before the next was taken.

What we provided

The scope delivered under this package.

Railing fabrication and installation: MS railings fabricated and installed along the corridor edge.

Footpaths: Sub-base to surface finish, laid in sections.

Traffic-side protection: Barriers and flag control agreed with the engineer, adjusted by time of day.

Reinstatement: Kerbs, surfaces and crossings returned to use behind each section.

How we delivered it

01 Section plan agreed firstThe corridor was divided into workable stretches with the engineer, each with its own barrier plan.

02 Built beside live trafficFlag control and barriers held the work zone while buses, cars and pedestrians passed within metres.

03 Inspected stretch by stretchEach section was checked against the drawing before the barriers moved forward.

04 Handed back in useThe route reopened behind the crews, section after section, until all 318 metres were done.

The outcome

All 318 metres delivered with the corridor open throughout, section by section, under the engineer’s inspection.
